Set up email in the Outlook for Android app

Remove existing account

If you previously had work email configured on your Android device, you can delete the account. Otherwise skip to Setup email in Outlook App

From Settings, swipe to and tap Accounts and backup.
Tap Manage accounts, and then select your email account.
Tap Remove account, and then tap Remove account again to confirm.

(Depending on your existing email app of choice, steps to remove may vary)

Setup email in Outlook App

1. Install the Outlook for Android app from the Google Play Store and then open it.


2. If it's your first time using Outlook for Android, tap Add Account. Outlook may detect your Google accounts. If you don't want to add these accounts to Outlook for Android, tap Skip

If you already have the Outlook app, to add another email account, open the Menu More button > Settings Settings > Add Account > Add Email Account.


3. Enter your full email address, then tap Continue.


4. Enter your email account password and tap Sign In


5. Accept any prompts for permission you may receive.

You're now ready to use Outlook for Android
