Set up email in the Outlook for iOS app


Remove account from Apple Mail

If you previously had work email configured in the native Apple Mail app, you need to delete the account. Otherwise skip to Setup email in Outlook App

On your iOS device, tap to open the Settings app.

Tap on Email. 

Tap on your company email account, commonly named Exchange or CRC

At the bottom, tap on Delete Account. 

You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. 


Wait for the deletion to complete. 

When you are returned to the list of your accounts, you have successfully removed your Exchange account from your iOS device.

Setup email in Outlook App

1. Download Outlook for iOS from the iOS App Store and then open it. The icon looks like this:

2. If it's your first time using Outlook for iOS, enter your full email address, then tap Add Account. If asked - select "work or school" account.


If you already have the outlook app, open the Menu > tap Settings Outlook app settings > Add Account > Add Email Account.


If asked for email provider, pick Microsoft 365
You may also be asked verify your phone number, in case you need to recover your account.


3. Enter your email account password and tap Sign In.


4. You may be prompted Authenticate. Tap Open Authenticator

Accept any prompts for permission you may receive. You will then return to the Outlook app

Swipe through the features and you're now ready to use Outlook for iOS
