Using VPN - SonicWall NetExtender

Using VPN - SonicWall NetExtender

By connecting to work using the VPN, you can access files and folders as you would in the office from home.

To connect, double click the desktop icon

The fields except password should be filled already and do not need modifying, but if anything is missing, it should match below:

Server:            vpn.chester-races.com:1539
Username:     First Initial and Surname, unless stated otherwise
Password:      Same password used to sign into PC
Domain:         chester-races.com

Once you have entered you password, click connect.

You will then be prompted for your one-time passcode from your authenticator app.
Enter the code and click "ok" and NetExtender will connect.

Please note:
  1. This is only needed if connecting outside of work. If you are on a Staff network, you will not need this. If you are using company equipment then this should be using a staff network by default.
  2. If you are given a "RAS" error message when signing in, then restarting the laptop usually fixes this.
  3. If you are prompted to "bind your app for time based one-time password" then follow this process.
  4. If the issues persist, please email helpdesk@chester-races.com
