Open a Microsoft Team's SharePoint Site

Open a Microsoft Team's SharePoint Site

When a Microsoft Team is created, a SharePoint site is automatically created to store the Team's files. You can access the SharePoint site on the web by doing the following;

1. Click on the a channel name within the Team (in this example, "General")
2. Click the "Files" tab
3. Click the three dot button, to expand the menu
4. Click "Open in SharePoint"



This will open the SharePoint site in your default browser. If prompted, sign into your work Microsoft account. Your credentials are your work email address and your work computer password.

Once signed in, you will all the the channel's files. You can then add this to page to your browser's bookmarks for later reference
